“Surely someone’s made this already.”

They had. But I knew I could make it better.

The Refit Retro Thumb Reader is a small hold-open wedge that lets you read a book one-handed without fighting the spine or shadowing the page.

You slide your thumb through it, the wings hold the pages open, and that’s it.

If you’ve ever eaten cereal while reading, balanced a book on the bus, read in bed and dropped it on your face (we’ve all been there), or tried to keep a page open while also holding a coffee – this is the fix.

3D printed in PLA that’s strong enough for daily use but gentle on pages.

Also — let’s be honest — Sanderson doesn’t write books that don’t need one of these. The Way of Kings alone could double as a doorstop.

Colours vary depending on what’s in the printer this week.
